Dr Isabelle Dieuzy-Labaye

Dr Isabelle Dieuzy-Labaye is Senior Advisor, Partnerships, at the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE). She has over 20 years of international experience in animal health, mostly in the private sector. Isabelle is a Trustee of the NGO GALVmed. She is a Board member at Ecole Nationale Vétérinaire d’Alfort (ENVA) and the Moredun Research Institute in Scotland. She is part of the Scientific Council of the Animal Health Department of INRAE. Isabelle holds a DVM from ENVA and obtained her MBA at INSEAD.

Dr Markos Tibbo

Dr Markos Tibbo is the Senior Livestock Development Officer at FAO Sub regional Office for the GCC States and Yemen, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Currently, he is leading projects on transformation of livestock sector through SDGs, conservation of genetic resources, eradication of animal diseases and zoonoses, developing tools for improving biosecurity and preventing pandemics

Dr. Alejandro Dorado

Alejandro is a veterinary epidemiologist with experience in the private sector, academia, public health, and international development. He holds a DVM degree from Complutense University of Madrid (Spain), and an MSc and PhD in Epidemiology of AMR from Utrecht University (The Netherlands). He joined FAO HQ in Rome early in 2018 where he works as an Animal Health Officer. He coordinates and provides technical support for implementing a number of projects related to AMR, especially in the areas of promotion of good practices, and surveillance and monitoring of AMR / AMU. In his work, he continuously engages with various units/departments at HQs and supports intensively the work in the regional offices in Africa, Asia and Latin America. 

PH. Ibrahim Alsmael

Ph. Ibrahim Alismail graduated with a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from King Saud University, Saudi Arabia in 2013. And started his professional experience as Regulatory Affairs Specialist with Saudi Food and Drug Authority. In 2016, he joined the privet sector as a Regulatory Affairs Manager in Merck, then he joined Procter And Gamble as a Regulatory Affairs and Scientific Office Manager, Currently, he is the Director of Central Registration Program in the Gulf Health Council.

  • Was a Member in Classification and Listing Products Committee (Saudi FDA).

His areas of interest include Pharmaceutical Regulations, Policy, Quality, Post Marketing Surveillance and Pharmaceutical Pricing.

Abdallah Sallam

Abdallah Sallam is a veterinarian graduated from Faculty of veterinary medicine – Cairo University with 11 years working experience in Animal Health  pharmaceutical industry. He has a Ph.D. in Microbiology from Faculty of veterinary medicine Cairo university. He worked as Microbiologist at National Organization for Drug Control and Research in Egypt and he is currently Regulatory Affairs Lead for Egypt and Middle East at Zoetis the world Animal Health Leader.
